I am mad to this TV series since first season. The last one is somehow not as good as the previous but last episode was again back on track almost. Hank Moody reminds me somehow my last half of my 2010 but we live just once but David Duchovny really play it so f*ucking good. I heard he behave in real life like that as well so maybe that`s why it looks natural.

Karen - is romantic and sexy at the same time. I would like to have wife like her. After all his mistakes and personal issues she still loves him.
Rebecca - being kidna boring character like somebody would writing script just to have her there.
Charlie Runkle - being always funny and his sex failures and simillar things make me laugh.

I dont know which episode was the best one for me but I remember lately S03E08. Simply epic. I laughed so much after the end

That was very old bug in LFS...hmm. What version of LFS you use?

I doubt that radio has native iPod support at all. If it would then it is just a cable he need. I dont think the cable would cost 150 pounds, do you?

Its a box between the radio and iPod and that not native iPod support. Mentioned here many time but you can get the same for half. I think the dealer was laying when he told him when buying the car that the radio has native iPod support or he did not know himself. I would be not suprised.

Just vote guys....there would be people asking I have 768 what should I vote. I tried to make it as more simple as possible and reflecting what all options have been in past untill now. Forgot to add 320 & 896MB thought. Also be realistic as the current textures use around 70-90 of grahic memory so 2GB option is really useless.

Yes, but this is just devs to show what most memory they can use for graphic card and in the same time how much hires texture creation make sense.

On the actual topic, I spoke to a dealer in Westbury (about 40 miles away) who said it was still availible, my dealer was talking crap and that they had one in stock. It even came out at about £20 cheaper, so £170 fitted.

There is non difference between Xcarlink what what VW offer as official integration. You just pay for the brand 85 vs 150....almost twice of that. Its the same box which will be connected to your CD changer connector on the back of the integrated radio(just ask the dealer). So if this was only your decision to buy Golf V then I dont know what to say....

Most of these "integration" are not real one. They just provide another small box and as I said above just connect it to CD changer connector on the back of the radio.

That is notebook card and does not have onboard more then 512. The lest is shared memory which is much slower. Should not be counted in as memory graphic because it decrease the perfomance a lot.

I will update first post probably to make people understand it better.

The current textures are waaaay too old and small. For myself, i made myself 8k resolution textures for BL. Looks alot better now.

There a lot of people who use older graphic card with less memory. 1024 MB is for new cards as standard.I have been thinking how much effort devs need to put in highres textures. The bigger one the more work it requires.

Hi,

just had an idea after viewing Steam survey to help LFS devs to realize how much they can improve LFS texture to hi-res for next big realease or S3 to not to make it just for minor number of people who could use it as neither me or devs know what people use in general.

Please do not include shared memory(mostly used in notebooks) as it does not provide same performance(less bandwith) as onboard memory on the graphic card

The question is simple "How much memory have your graphic card"

P.S.:Scawen, Eric. May I ask you to put it sticky for a while so you dont have to ask something like that any time later. Just to have enough data for you.

Beside that modern cards does not have fixed pipelines like DX7 cards so I think some things from DX7 might be emulated on DX9-DX11 hardware. Emulation bring perfomance issue.

Those hires textures should be by default included in LFS.

I think they show much better how iRacing looking in some aspects better over LFS but I agree with you in generally. I like more differences in track textures in iRacing. LFS needs better full dynamic shadows including inside of the car and few effects. Then it would look more realistic. I do not want something to be over done but improvements would make it up to date and add more immersion.

Also more highres textures as even the low models have now like 512MB of memory minimum. Even most of the old graphic cards people might use here will have at least 256MB of memory. Obviously there is demand for better looking graphic if people create their own hi-res attempts. It seems it was not realized with dev team.

Well I am used to conversion Dollar price = Euro price. That`s how usually works it here in Europe unfortunately.
Here the mobo from Asus with passive cooling cost around 140 Euro but we will see...

I dont care about Scirocco. Unless its out then at current stage its vaporware for me.

Those delays kidna starting to remind me DukeNukem Forever unfortunately. They wanted to be it always better then anything around or make some things excelent till it got to the point they never realeased anything. If the rights did not buy another company and Gearbox finished it we would never see it. Sometimes its good to realize zourself zou reached point when it has to be realeased and zou can work on it better then not releasing anything.

I am just curious about technical aspects of a lot of things and games 3D engines as well so I am curious what LFS is built around and what support.

Future plans would be nice to know but maybe rather not to hear anything from Scawen as his cant do the PR very well. I remember that he said once most of the graphic cards will be DX9 the engine will got to DX9 as well to support new features and better eye candy. It add to the immersion of racing a lot if its done properly. What we have nowdays. DX10 cards and DX11 slowly penetrating market share and where is update LFS 3D engine. That`s maybe not better to know about future update of 3D LFS engine.

I am just curious about technical aspects of current one rather.

Why it could not be LFS. Why game industry realized that with DLC packs and buying another content keeps people staying with game or brand. (it brings more money too ofcourse)

Heh - old times. Good times.

I remember those times when I brought from my friend 10 or 10+ floppy version of some games and 1 or more had error. I was so made and it was happening quite often. We had to later pack every game in zip/rar. Funny times but the games were much more enjoyable, all the time new ideas and they lasted for ages. Not those 4 hour crap nowdays.

I remember also 8 inch one. We had these in school when I did not have my first computer yet.
